About Prismatic Algos
Clear labels. Reproducible questions.
Prismatic Algos publishes educational research and documentation about algorithmic trading portfolios. Cree Lawson is the named publisher of this site’s research and product notes.
What we publish
The research journal covers portfolio construction, Expert Advisor evidence and source-audit methods. The Trading Algo Compendium adds a dated research index, methodology notes and downloadable data. Product and portfolio pages are kept separate from educational articles.
How evidence is labeled
Research, historical backtests, modelled reconstructions, demo accounts and funded live accounts answer different questions. We label them separately and avoid presenting one as proof of another. Where a result is hypothetical, the page identifies the tested period, assumptions and known limitations.
Start with the evidence guide or read the practical guide to checking EA backtests, demo and live results.
Research standards
- State the source, snapshot date, scope and denominator.
- Keep missing or ambiguous information visible.
- Separate catalog observations from independent testing.
- Record important assumptions behind charts and comparisons.
- Update the page date when a substantive conclusion changes.
Publisher and external records
Cree Lawson publishes this material for Prismatic Algos. The site does not claim independent audit, regulatory approval or legal review unless a page explicitly says so. Where public monitoring records are available, portfolio pages link to the outside provider so readers can inspect the provider’s own labels and history.
Questions and corrections
If a source, calculation or label appears unclear, please contact Prismatic Algos and identify the page. Corrections should preserve the distinction between what the evidence shows and what remains unresolved.
